How to make a UPI QR code and payment link

  1. Type your name or shop name and your UPI ID, like shopname@okicici.
  2. Add an amount if you want it fixed. Leave it blank to let the customer choose.
  3. Tap Generate QR, then download the QR or copy the pay link.
  4. Send the reminder on WhatsApp. The customer taps the link or scans the QR and pays in any UPI app.

Use the QR code at your counter or on printed bills. Use the pay link in WhatsApp, because a customer can't scan a QR shown on their own phone.

Is this UPI QR code generator free?

Yes. No signup and no limits. It works with GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and every UPI app.

Is my UPI ID stored anywhere?

No. The QR code is created inside your browser. Your UPI ID, name and amount are never sent to our servers. The pay link carries them only because you choose to send it.

What is the difference between a UPI QR code and a UPI payment link?

A QR code is scanned from another phone's screen or from a printout. A payment link is tapped, so it works on the same phone, which makes it the right choice for WhatsApp.

How do I send a UPI payment link on WhatsApp?

Generate your QR, then use section 3. On a phone, tap Share, choose WhatsApp and pick your customer; the QR image and a tappable pay link go with the message. On a laptop, use Text only.

Can I fix the amount in the QR code?

Yes. Enter an amount and the customer's UPI app opens with it filled in. Leave it blank and the customer types their own.

Does the pay link work on iPhone?

It opens UPI apps that support payment links, such as GPay, PhonePe and Paytm. If nothing opens, the page also shows the UPI ID so the customer can pay from inside their UPI app.
